A Regional Collaboration

Tailored to Davis

In a resolution passed by City Council on March 14th, 2017, the City of Davis entered into contracts with Davis Community Meals and Yolo Housing Authority to redouble its efforts to address homelessness with a significant funding boost from Sutter Health. The newly expanded efforts, bolstered by a $233,000 matching grant from Sutter Health, will encompass bridge rental assistance, jobs training program, and case management.

Working with organizations in and around Davis, the City of Davis is building upon its ongoing Outreach and Assessment as well as New Pathways, a housing and support services program. New to Davis’ arsenal of programs are Pathways to Employment, a bridge rental assistance, and comprehensive case management. Sutter Health’s Getting to Zero, a tri-county effort to reduce homelessness in the region, is funding these three new programs.
